Webinar on Derivatives Market – The Tribune India

Under the Investor Awareness Programme (IAP), Government Degree College, Jawali, and the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX) jointly hosted a webinar titled “Commodity Derivatives Market”. As many as 120 participants attended the webinar both online and offline, including faculty, non-teaching staff, and students. Ratnesh Mishra, Deputy Manager, NCDEX, was the keynote speaker. College principal Neeru Thakur formally welcomed both the speaker and the audience. Mishra gave a well-informed and detailed lecture on a wide range of topics related to commodity and derivative markets.

No commerce teacher, claims SFI

The SFI unit of Sunni Government College has alleged that not even a single commerce teacher is there in the college. As a result, many students are not attending classes. The SFI demanded that all vacant posts should be filled up soon. Besides, the students’ body demanded that the college should provide clean drinking water and toilet facility. Also, the construction work of the auditorium should also be completed as early as possible.

Open university portal: ABVP

The ABVP submitted a memorandum to the HPU VC, demanding that the university portal be opened at the earliest for students who could not fill their entrance exam forms during the pandemic. There were several UG and PG students whose assessment and assignment marks could not be added to the final result due to some reasons. In such cases, these marks should be added and results should be declared soon, the party added.
