ICFDT · CFOA Professional Membership
Professional Membership adds ongoing value around your CFOA: members-only opportunities, optional employer visibility, annual professional recognition, market intelligence, and preferential access to ICFDT programs and resources.
Existing CFOA holders: $50 Founding Holder Credit available through September 30, 2026. Activate at $99/year and keep that rate while membership remains continuous.
Membership is optional. The CFOA designation remains valid for life and publicly verifiable whether or not you join.
Career optionality
The CFOA Opportunities Board continuously monitors roles across derivatives, options, quantitative finance, trading, portfolio management, investment research and risk. It gives members a specialist view of the market without requiring an active job search. Full job detail and application links are reserved for Professional Members.

Roles that name CFOA
Explicit designation mentions are flagged and prioritized at the top of the board.
Specialist employer monitoring
Trading firms, hedge funds, investment managers, banks and other relevant employers.
Member-only application access
Public visitors can preview the board; members receive full role detail and source application links.
Employer visibility, on your terms
The Analyst Registry is optional career visibility for CFOA Professional Members. Whether you are actively looking, passively open to a compelling move, or simply want a stronger professional presence around the designation, you decide if and how employers can find you.
Firms filter the registry by specialization, location, and availability, and reach verified analysts whose credential can be independently checked.
Member profiles are contactable through the registry, creating a route for relevant employer interest beyond the applications you submit yourself.
Members choose what their profile displays, set their availability, and can opt out of employer search at any time without affecting their certification.
ICFDT Analyst Registry
Every profile on the Analyst Registry is a Professional Member holding a verified ICFDT credential. All certificate holders remain independently verifiable through the public credential registry; the Analyst Registry is where members are searched and contacted. Access for employers is free.
Registry listings shown with each analyst's consent. Members control their profile contents, availability status, and search visibility from their member account, and may opt out of employer search at any time. Certificate verification remains public for all holders via the ICFDT credential registry. Employers: registry access is free; contact requests are relayed to the analyst, whose details are never exposed without their action.

Questions
It is a continuously updated, members-only board of roles relevant to CFOA holders across derivatives, options, trading, quantitative finance, investment research, portfolio management, risk and related functions. The public Opportunities Board preview shows its scope; Professional Members receive full role detail and application links. Jobs that explicitly mention the CFOA designation are identified and surfaced first.
Yes. The Opportunities Board and Analyst Registry provide career optionality, but membership is also intended for established professionals who want active professional recognition around the CFOA, the annual member badge, the ICFDT Quarterly Briefing, preferential member pricing, and early access to selected ICFDT research and programs. Analyst Registry visibility is optional, so you can remain a Professional Member without presenting yourself as actively seeking a new role.
No. The CFOA certification is valid for life and carries no annual dues, no maintenance fees, and no continuing-education requirements. Professional Membership is a separate, optional program. Declining or cancelling membership has no effect on your certification or its public verification.
Employers search the registry free of charge, filtering by specialization, location, and availability, and contact analysts directly through it. Contact requests are relayed to the analyst, and personal details are never exposed unless the analyst responds. The Analyst Registry lists Professional Members; all CFOA certificate holders remain independently verifiable through the public credential registry.
You do. Members choose their headline, specialization, photograph, availability status, and whether their profile appears in employer search at all. Opting out of search takes effect immediately and never affects your certification, your designation, or public credential verification.
Existing CFOA holders who use their $50 Founding Holder Credit by September 30, 2026 activate Professional Membership at $99/year rather than the $149 standard rate. The $99 annual rate remains locked for as long as membership stays continuous. If that membership later lapses, you can rejoin at the then-current standard rate.
Membership renews automatically each year at the applicable rate. A reminder is sent before renewal, and you can cancel online from your member account at any time. If membership lapses, your profile comes off the Analyst Registry and member-only access to the Opportunities Board ends; your certification and its public verification are unaffected.
Certificate holders from the current examination cycle onward receive their first year of membership included with certification. It activates with your certificate and renews at the standard rate after the first year unless cancelled; you'll receive a reminder before any charge.
No. Your designation, certificate, and public credential verification continue exactly as before. The Opportunities Board, Analyst Registry profile, member alerts, annual badge and other ongoing services are additional benefits available through Professional Membership.
CFOA Professional Membership is specific to the CFOA program. The CFIA designation operates its own subscription within the CFIA program. Professionals holding both credentials may hold both independently.
Professional Membership adds career optionality, active professional recognition, market intelligence, and preferential member access to the designation you already earned.
